Hey, YOU! Yeah, you’re kinda awesome. We should totally hang out. This Sunday, we invite you to LifeCity Church and immediately after we would love to treat you and your family to lunch with Pastor John and church family. We’re treating to Jersey Mike’s subs and will enjoy some casual time with our friends and families at the park next door. So bring a football, dress comfortably, and let’s get to know each other better.
If you’ve been waiting for a good day to see what our church is all about, without feeling awkward about it, this is a great opportunity to try out our church. NO MATTER where you are with faith, God, or church – you matter to God, and you matter to us!

Montague Market: Saturday, 9am-2pm!

Montague Market is a great event at our elementary school that is coming this Saturday (March 19), 9am-2pm. It’s like a big, neighborhood garage sale/flea market. With several community vendors joining us including Jamba Juice, Mission City Creamery, and Mathnasium, there will also be tons of food, fun, games, and opportunities to browse garage sales all brought together at our school’s back blacktop. Pastor John will be smoking homemade BBQ for the school PTA to sell also, so don’t miss out on that!
LifeCity will also be hosting a space where we’ll offer some games to play as well as giving away treats and prizes, and inviting our community to our Egg Hunt and Easter Sunday. If you’re available and interested in helping us run our space, email us at hello@lifevalley.church and Melissa Glynn will follow up with getting you plugged in to one of our 1-hour volunteer time slots. We’re getting excited to host our annual Community Easter Egg Hunt! Last year, we gave away bikes, candy, specialty baskets LOADED with awesome Easter gifts, an autographed Sharks hockey puck, and more… this year, it’s going to be even better! We’re also doing a special prize drawing for the kids who pre-register in advance, and the entire event is completely FREE!

“GO ON A MISSIONS TRIP – IT’LL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.”
The first week of August 2016, we’ll be taking a missions trip with our friends at Ocean View Church (San Diego) to do some real hands-on ministry across the border in poverty-stricken Tijuana. There, we’ll be doing some maintenance work for an orphanage, setting up and running carnival-type events for children in poor neighborhoods, praying over people, providing meals, and other tangible expressions of the love of Christ.
Here’s what you’ll need to know in advance:
- The cost per person is estimated at $275/person participating.
- You will need a current passport to go.
- No children under 18 for this trip.
- Each person on the trip is expected to fully participate in all activities.

It’s time to rethink the story of God. The story of us… The story of Easter. We welcome you and all your loved ones to join us for an energetic, uplifting worship gathering this Easter at LifeCity Church! With powerful music, a welcoming church community, and the most fun your kids will ever have at church, you’ll want to be there!

Communion Sunday

Join us this Sunday as we participate in communion together. Communion (aka, “The Lord’s Supper”) is an opportunity that we participate in as a memorial of Jesus’ dying on our behalf on the cross. All those who have put their faith and trust in Christ are welcomed to participate with us in communion. This is always a great time for our church family to bond together over our common identity in Jesus.
Things you may consider doing in advance to be prepared to participate include:
– Praying and turning over any unconfessed sin to God. Come to communion with a pure heart.
– Seek to repair any relationships where needed and possible.
– Read Luke 22:14-20, one of the accounts of the last supper, which we do communion in memorial of.

“Engage” event (Cityteam)

We’re serving our city by getting connected with our friends at Cityteam: San Jose. Join us in making a difference where it REALLY matters.
We will be spending an entire day with our friends at Cityteam, engaging the homeless community on the streets and in the shelter. we’ll also get hands-on with their meal program, addiction recovery, and crisis pregnancy homes.
